ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- (The case has been heard through video conference) The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence under Sections 4 (1) (aaa), 4(1-A) (ii) of TamilNadu Prohibition Act r/w 468, 471, 420 of IPC, in Crime No.198 of 2021, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner/accused was in illegal possession of spurious 180ml quantity of 195 Express bottles and 180 ml of 230 black pearl bottles. Hence, the law enforcing agency registered a case against the petitioner.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays for grant of bail to the petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submits that initially a case in Crime No.87 of 2021 was registered by the Vellore Town Police. Thereafter, the Superintendent of Police, Vellore has transferred the case in Crime No.87 of 2021 to the respondent police on 27.08.2021 and the respondent police registered a fresh case in Crime No.198 of 2021. He further submits that already this court has granted bail to the petitioner in Crl.OP.No.13211 of 2021 dated 30.07.2021. Hence, no further order is required.
