Respondent Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to conduct draw and select suitable person for LPG Distributorship to the location Tiruppur (Nallur) as per the representation dated 04.12.2014 of the petitioner.

Heard Mr.K.V.Muthuvisakan, learned counsel for the petitioner.

2. In the light of the direction which propose to issue, notice to the respondent is dispensed with.

3. The petitioner filed an application pursuant to an advertisement issued by the respondent Petroleum Corporation inviting applications for appointment of LPG Distributorship in Tiruppur (Nallur) location under open category. Though the petitioner has submitted his application, the draw as contemplated under notification has not been conducted till date. Therefore, the petitioner has submitted a representation on 04.12.2014 requesting the respondent Petroleum Corporation to consider the application and conduct draw.

4. In the light of the above, without going into the merits of the allegations mad e by the petitioner, the respondent is directed to inform the petitioner in writing as to whether the draw has been https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

conducted, as expeditiously as possible, if there is no other legal impediment .

5. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
