ORDER

The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 379, 452 of I.P.C., 1980 in Crime No.276 of 2025, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner while working as Assistant, had stolen fingerprint book in the Registrar Office and the same was in his custody from 03.07.2019 to 04.07.2019. The said incident was identified through CCTV Camera. Hence the case. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that the custodial interrogation of the petitioner is not required and sought for anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor reiterated the prosecution case and opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 5.Head the learned counsels on either side and perused the records. 6.Since, the petitioner has committed very serious and heinous offence, the custodial interrogation of the petitioner is very much required. Hence, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

7.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 23-06-2025 ep
