Heard Mr.M.Gnanasekar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.Tamilvanan, learned Government Advocate (Puducherry) appearing for the respondent. With the consent of either side the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage.
2.The petitioner, who is a Executive General Secretary of Human Rights and Consumer protection Society, has sought for permission to propaganda certain issues concerning a particular individual by issuing tom-tom. This request has been rejected by the respondent by the impugned order dated 04.02.2015.
3. From the perusal of the representation, it is seen that the petitioner seeks to vindicate his grievance against a particular police officer. If it is so, the petitioner has to approach the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
concerned authority, clearly setting out the allegations against the particular officer and this cannot be construed as a public issue to be propagated by beating tom-tom.
4. Accordingly, no ground has been made out to interfere with the impugned order. However, it is open to the petitioner to resort other remedies in accordance with law. With the above direction, this Writ petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
