Heard Ms.Dakshayani Reddy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Ms.P.Rajalakshmi, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. With the consent of either side the
Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage.
2.The petitioner seeks for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to pass orders on the Appeal of the petitioners' Association dated 28.12.2013 against the order declaring the petitioners' Association as defunct within the time frame.
3. The petitioner has filed an appeal before the 1st respondent and the same is pending. The petitioner relies upon the report of the 2nd respondent dated 12.03.2014.
4. In the light of the above without going into the merits of the petitioner's contention, there shall be a direction to the 1st respondent to consider the appeal petition dated 28.12.2013 on merits and in accordance with law after issuing notice to the petitioner and all the other persons, who are likely to be aggrieved and pass a speaking order as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of the order.
5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
