PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to pass 1/4
final orders in the proceedings of R.C.No.2360/15/B7/Vlr dated 19.01.2023 for conducting election in Kalmelkuppam Miskin Jumma Masjid Wakf.

ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for issuance of writ of mandamus directing the Tamil Nadu Waqf Board to conduct election for Kalmelkuppam Miskin Jumma Masjid Waqf.
2. When the matter came up for admission on 23.06.2023, this Court passed the following order:
"Mr.Abdul Mubeen, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for respondents 1 to 4.
2. The matter pertains to conducting election in Kalmelkuppam Miskin Jumma Masjid Wakf, pursuant to the proceedings of the 2nd respondent dated 19.01.2023. The grievance of the petitioner is that inspite of direction given by the 2nd respondent, till date no election has been conducted. The learned Standing Counsel shall take instructions and report before this Court.
3. Post this case under the caption "for orders" on 30.06.2023"

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the Waqf Board, on instructions, submitted that the Waqf Board already started the process for conducting election and the same will be completed within the time frame fixed by this Court.
4. In the light of the above submission made by the learned Standing Counsel, there shall be a direction to the Tamil Nadu Waqf Board to complete the process of election within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
