O R D E R

Heard Mr.T.T.Ravichandran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Ms.P.Rajalakshmi, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. With the consent of either side the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage.

2.The petitioner seeks for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus forbearing the respondents, their men, agents, servants, subordinates or any one acting under them from in any manner disturbing the peaceful possession and enjoyment including not to in any manner erect building/superstructure in the lands situate at survey no.180/1, measuring about 0.32 cents, Aragandanallur Village, Thirukkoilur Taluk, Villupuram District.

3. Admittedly, the land in question is a Government Land. Though the petitioner claims that he is in possession of the property for over 46 years, that by itself does not give any indevisable right to the petitioner to claim ownership over the property. Further more, the property was meant for constructing veterinary hospital, which is for a public purpose. 4.In any event, the representation dated 09.02.2015 is pending before the authorities and hence there shall be a direction to the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.02.2015 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

With the above observation, this Writ Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
