O R D E R

The petitioner is presently working as Nursing Superintendent Grade II at Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital, Chennai. The petitioner completed 2 1/2 years of service at Chennai. According to the petitioner, her family is located at Coimbatore. The petitioner submitted representations on 24.09.2014 and 17.02.2015 requesting the first respondent to transfer her to Coimbatore. Since there was no follow up action taken by the first respondent, the petitioner is before this Court.

2. The learned Additional Government Pleader on instructions submitted that representation of the petitioner for transfer would be decided by the first respondent within a period of three months .

3. The first respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the representations submitted by the petitioner dated 24.09.2014 and 17.02.2015 as expeditiously as possible and in any case within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. While considering the representations for transfer, the first respondent should look into the fact that the family of the petitioner is placed at Coimbatore and she has been working at Chennai for the last 2 1/2 years.

4. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
