..Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to rectify the pay anomaly by fixing the scale of pay for the petitioners working in the post of Middle School Headmaster in PB III @ 15,600-39,100 + 5,400 GP with effect from the date of promotion as Middle School Headmaster on par with scale of pay allowed for Selection Grade Primary School Headmaster which remains feeder post, with all consequential and other attendant benefits including arrears of salary with interest, by considering the representation made by the petitioners, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

O R D E R

The petitioners submitted a representation on 05.12.2014 requesting the first respondent to rectify the pay anomaly by fixing the scale of pay in the post of Middle School Headmaster with effect from their date of promotion as Middle School Headmaster on par with the scale of pay allowed for Selection Grade Primary School Headmaster. The said representation is pending consideration by the first respondent.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents.

3. The first respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioners on 05.12.2014 on merits and as per law. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
