This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to transfer the investigation in Crime No.829 of 2015 from the third respondent police to any other enforcement agency and to file a final report. The petitioner lodged a complaint on 02.08.2015 alleging that his daughter got married with one Senthil and they gave birth to two female children. Thereafter, on 01.08.2015 the victim was not returned to home. Hence, the women missing complaint was registered in Crime No.829 of 2015.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that that the petitioner is the father of the victim and now the husband of the victim got married and living happily. In fact he is taking custody of one female child and one female child was already died under suspicious circumstances.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) filed a status report and revealed that so far they have examined the petitioner, mother of the victim, brother of the victim, husband of the victim and other neighbours and all other relatives. However, the whereabouts of the victim even till 2/4

today was not found. The third respondent also verified the dead bodies found in the mortuary in all hospitals in Chennai, and there is no trace about the victim. Therefore, the change of investigation would not serve any purpose.

4. Considering the facts and circumstance of the case, the third respondent police is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.829 of 2015 and file a final report within a period of four weeks from the date of the receipt of a copy of this Order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
