Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the respondent to dispose the representation of the petitioner dated 18.2.2015 within the time stipulated by this Honourable court. For Petitioner :

Heard Mr.M.Pari, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.R.Vijayakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents.
2. The above writ petition has been filed by the petitioner to issue a writ of mandamus, directing the respondent to dispose the representation of the petitioner dated 18.2.2015 within a time stipulated.
3. According to the petitioner, he has made application to the respondents under Revenue Standing Order No.22(P) and (U) and also under Section B.75 to assign the property in S.No.256/1 0.10.0 at https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Venkigal Village, Tiruvannamalai District. The last of the representation was given by the petitioner on 18.02.2015.
4. Mr.R.Vijayakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents and submitted that the respondents may be directed to dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioner within a stipulated time.
5. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and also taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the respondents to consider the representation dated 18.02.2015 submitted by the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law and decide the same, within a period of ten weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
