Petition filed under section 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus to forbear the second and third respondents, their men, servants and agents from carrying out any construction activity of sump in the petitioner land situated at Survey NO.104/2B, Velacherry Main Road, (Near Children Park) Pallikaranai, Chennai - 600 100 and further direct the third respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 16.02.2015 within a stipulated period.

Heard Mr.R.Sagadevan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.M.L.Mahendran, learned Government Advocate appearing for the first respondent and Mr.M.Jothikumar, learned standing counsel appearing for the second and third respondents. 2.The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus to forbear the second and third respondents, their men, servants and agents from carrying out any construction activity of sump in the petitioner land situated at Survey No.104/2B, Velacherry Main Road, (Near Children Park) Pallikaranai, Chennai 600 100 and further direct the third respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 16.02.2015 within a stipulated period.

3.On notice being issued through the learned standing counsel for the respondent corporation, it is submitted by the learned standing counsel for the respondent corporation that the respondent corporation is not proposing any construction of sump, but it is only laying pipeline and undertake that they will not interfere with the petitioner's patta land in Survey No.104/2B, Velacherry Main Road, (Near Children Park) Pallikaranai, Chennai 600 100. 4.The said undertaking given by the respondents is placed on record and this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
