The above writ petition has been filed by the President of the Tamil Nadu Kurumans Tribals People Movement to issue a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to give permission to 3 day hunger fast from 25.02.2015 to 27.02.2015 to the petitioner's movement for issuance of Kurumans Community Certificates, based on Social and Cultural aspects.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.R.Vijayakumar, the learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that by order dated 24.02.2015, the second respondent has given permission to the petitioner Federation to conduct hunger fast on 25.02.2015 between 10.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Since the relief sought for in the writ petition pertains to 25.02.2015 to 27.02.2015, a portion of the relief has become infructuous. Therefore, if the petitioner wants to get permission from the respondents for conducting hunger fast on different days, it is open to them to give fresh application before the respondents and it is for the respondents to decide the same on merits and in accordance with law.
