O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] On 09.09.2021, we passed the following order : "It is the case of the petitioner that his daughter Sharon Priyam, aged about 16 years, went

missing from 25.08.2021 and that the police are not taking effective steps to secure her.

2.On instructions, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that on a complaint given by the petitioner, a case in Arakkonam Town Police Station Crime No.395 of 2021 was registered for 'girl missing' and investigation is in progress. 3.In such view of the matter, we direct the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Arakkonam SubDivision, to monitor the investigation in Arakkonam Town Police Station Crime No.395 of 2021 and keep the petitioner informed of the developments, if any. As and when the detenue Sharon Priyam, aged about 16 years, is secured, she shall be produced before the Judicial Magistrate Court, Arakkonam, under intimation to the petitioner. On such production, the learned Magistrate shall pass appropriate orders with regard to custody in accordance with law.

Post the matter on 07.10.2021."

2. Today, Mr.M.Santhosh Kumar, PC-1030, Arakkonam Town Police Station, Ranipet District, is present before this Court.

3. On instructions, Mr.Muniyapparaj, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the victim girl viz., Sharon Priyam was secured on 31.10.2021 in Arakkonam Town P.S.Crime No.395/2021 and produced before the Special Court for POCSO Act Cases, Vellore and was handed over to her parents.
