PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to consider the petitioner representation and issue no objection certificate to the petitioner's beauty parlour in the style and name of Queens SPA i.e. massage centre situated at No.22/3, 7th East Main Road, Gandhi Nagar, Auxulium College Roundtana, Near Kamarajar Salai, Vellore-632 006, based on the petitioner representation dated 09.06.2023.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to consider the petitioner representation and issue no objection certificate to the petitioner's beauty parlour in the style and name of Queens SPA i.e. massage centre situated at No.22/3, 7th East Main Road, Gandhi Nagar, Auxulium College Roundtana, Near Kamarajar Salai, Vellore-632 006, based on the petitioner representation dated 09.06.2023.

It is the contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is running a SPA i.e. cross relaxation massage in the name and style of "Queens SPA" at No.22/3, 7th East Main Road, Gandhi Nagar, Auxulium College Roundtana, Near Kamarajar Salai, Vellore-632 006. He would further submit that the petitioner has made a representation dated 09.06.2023 to the first respondent seeking for the issuance of "No Objection Certificate" to run the said business and the same is not considered by the respondents. Hence this petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), appearing for the respondents submitted that the respondent police has received the representation

of the petitioner and the same is pending for consideration.

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondents police.

5. Considering the above, this Court directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.06.2023 with regard to the issuance of "No Objection Certificate" and decide the same, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, in accordance with law.
