This application is filed seeking to extend the time period for completion of the arbitration proceedings before the learned Arbitrator.

2. It is stated that the pleadings are complete and the case has been posted for arguments of the first respondent/claimant. The learned counsel for the applicant submitted that the time stipulated for completion of the arbitration proceedings was expired on 27.06.2019. Hence, he prays for extension of time for completion of arbitration proceedings.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing on both sides.

4. With the consent of learned counsel on both sides, time is extended by six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order for completing the arbitration proceedings. The parties should endeavour to complete the arbitration proceedings within a period of six months.
