Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of writ of Mandamus directing the 1st and 2nd respondents herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.10.2014 and consequently direct the 1st and 2nd respondents to appoint Petitioner as a Cook of Government School Hostel at Periyapakkalam Gengavalli Taluk, Salem District under compassionate grounds.

O R D E R

The husband of the petitioner was employed as Cook in Government School Hostel in the District of Salem. He died in harness on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

14.06.2012, leaving behind the petitioner and her two children. The petitioner submitted an application for compassionate appointment on 16.12.2013. However, there was no follow up action taken by the first respondent, resulting in filing this Writ Petition.

2. The first respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the representations submitted by the petitioner dated 16.12.2013 and 21.10.2014 on merits and as per law. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
