Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the order of 1st respondent proceedings No.Na./Ka.525/2013/m7 dated 31.07.2014 and also the order of the 2nd Respondent Proceedings No.Nil date 01.08.2014 and to quash both the aforesaid orders and consequent to direct the aforesaid respondents to issue the death Certificate of the petitioner father's namely late Vedagiri Son of Ponnusamy to the petitioner. For Petitioner : No appearance For Respondents : Mr.T.Venkatesh Kumar (Special Government Pleader) assisted by Mr.M.Rajendran (Additional Government Pleader)

O R D E R

The petitioner has applied for death certificate of his father for effecting transfer of name in respect of his ancestral property situated in Survey No. 130/1A at Orathur Village, Sriperumbudur Taluk, Kancheepuram District. This application was returned by the 1st respondent/ Deputy Tahsildar on the ground that the entries are not available in the office. Challenging the same, the writ petition is preferred. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. Now that, there is no dispute with regard to the father's name of the petitioner and of the existence of the property. What is needed is to be found is the entries regarding the title of the property situate in Survey No. 130/1A measuring an extent of 49 cents and survey No. 130/1B measuring an extent of 5 cents in Orathur Village, Sriperumbudur Taluk, Kancheepuram District which now comes under the Kundarathur Taluk, Sripembudur Revenue Division, Kancheepuram District.

3. Pursuant to all these issues, this Court is of the considered opinion to issue a direction is given to the petitioner to approach the Revenue Divisional Officer, Sriperumbudur, who is common to both the Taluks for the purpose of getting the certificate.

4. On such application being filed, the Revenue Divisional Officer of Sriperumbudur Revenue Division is directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. Accordingly this writ petition is disposed of. There is no order as to costs.
