ORDER

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking direction to the respondents to grant time scale of pay, in accordance with the representation given by her on 03.04.2018.

2. The petitioner was appointed as Part-Time Sweeper on consolidated pay at Vadamathimangalam Branch Library under the control of the respondent, on 01.04.1994. According to the petitioner, the Government issued G.O.Ms.No.385, Finance https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

(Paycell) Department dated 01.10.2010, granting Special Time Scale of Pay to the Part-Time Sweepers, who have completed three years of service on daily wage basis or consolidated pay basis.

3. It is the grievance of the petitioner that despite the said G.O., she was not granted Special Time Scale of Pay till date. The petitioner submitted that similarly placed persons, who filed writ petitions before this Court, were also granted Special Time Scale of Pay.

Hence, she submitted a representation dated 03.04.2018 to the respondents claiming the same relief.

As the said representation has not been considered, the present writ petition has been filed.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 03.04.2018 in the light of G.O.Ms.No.385 Finance (Pay Cell) Department dated 01.10.2010 and to pass orders thereon, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
