(Made by G.R.SWAMINATHAN., J.) Heard learned counsel on both sides.

2.The petitioner has only been served with notice under Section 7 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905 (Tamil Nadu Act III of 1905).

3.The petitioner has given his objection. We are confident that first respondent will conduct enquiry and pass a speaking order on the petitioner's objection. We make it clear that due process of law will have to be adopted while dealing with the petitioner's property. 4.The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
