This Writ Petition has been filed for directing the second respondent to pass appropriate orders on the proposal submitted by the third respondent in Letter No. 351/PR41/2022 dated 18.11.2020 by granting revision of scale of pay in the post of Field Assistant for the petitioners with effect from 01.06.1989 and 10.08.1989 respectively including monetary benefits on par with the post of Field Assistant Highways Department, instead of 01.04.2013 on notional basis as directed in G.O. Ms. No. 200, Higher Education (11) Department dated 19.12.2020 with all consequential 2/5
and other attendant benefits, in consideration of the representation submitted by the petitioners dated 19.09.2023, within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.
2. Considering the limited relief sought for in the petition, without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 19.09.2023 based on the proposal submitted by the third respondent in Letter No. 351/PR41/2022 dated 18.11.2020 after issuance of notice to the petitioners and counter parties, if any and after giving opportunity of hearing to them, pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
3. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
