Respondents Prayer:Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to impart training in the Trade Test prescribed in the Recruitment Rules for the post of Mechanic to the petitioner and consequently direct the third respondent to consider the petitioner for adhoc promotion to the post of Mechanic since he is the only available person for appointment as Mechanic with all consequential benefits.

O R D E R

The relief sought herein is to direct the second respondent to impart training in the Trade Test for the post of Mechanic to the petitioner and direct the third respondent to consider him for adhoc promotion to the said post and consequential direction. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.When the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that during the pendancy of this writ petition, the petitioner was given promotion with effect from the year 2013 and hence, nothing survives for adjudication.

3.Recording the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.

No costs.

Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
