ORDER

The petitioner has filed the writ petition for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 12.3.2013 and to cancel the document in Document No.1030 of 2013 by applying the Circular of the first respondent in Circular No.67, dated 3.11.2011 (C.No.52338/C1/2011). 2.

Mr.M.L. Mahendran, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents and by consent of both sides, the main writ petition has been taken up for final hearing. 3.

It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner has given a representation before the respondents on 12.3.2013 to cancel the document in Document No.1030 of 2013.

The learned Government Advocate submitted that the third respondent may be directed to consider the representation dated 12.3.2013 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a stipulated time.

Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and also taking into consideration of the limited prayer sought for by the writ petitioner, without expressing any opinion with regard to the mertis of the case, I direct the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 12.3.2013 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
