Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a WRIT OF HABEAS CORPUS to call for the records relating to the order of detention passed by the 2nd respondent dated 16.08.2021 in C.M.P.No.22/GOONDA/C2/2021, quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the body of the detenu Senthil @ Senthilkumar (Male / aged 36), son of Duraisamy (now detained at Central Prison, Salem) before this Hon'ble Court and set him at liberty.

[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention in C.M.P.No.22/GOONDA/C2/2021, dated 16.08.2021, detaining her husband as "GOONDA" under Section 2(f) of Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.5125, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIV) Department, dated 29.10.2021 and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order. Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
