ORDER

[Made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] This habeas corpus petition has been filed seeking to direct the 1st to 3rd respondents to produce the petitioner's son viz., Naresh Bahadur Singh, aged about 15 years, before this Court, from the illegal custody of the 4th respondent and hand over him to the petitioner.

2. Today, J.Krishnasamy (Mobile No.94442 54990), SubInspector of Police and A.Anand Vinoth Singh, Head Constable 26172, G-3, Kilpauk Police Station, are present. The police produced the alleged detenu Naresh Bahadur Singh, aged about 15 years, before this Court. The petitioner is also present.

3. On instructions, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that Naresh was found by the railway police in the railway station and was secured by them and handed over to the Child Welfare Committee, Chennai North. In view of the above, this habeas corpus petition stands closed with liberty to the petitioner to approach the Child Welfare Committee, Chennai North, for the custody of his son Naresh.
