O R D E R

The petitioner challenges the order dated 22.12.2014, whereby and whereunder the first respondent transferred him from District Treasury Office, Kancheepuram to Sub Treasury Office, Kancheepuram. Though the challenge is to the transfer order, the learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner would be satisfied in case liberty is granted to him to submit a representation to the first respondent to consider his case for reposting at the previous location, viz., District Treasury Office, Kancheepuram, in view of his disability.

2. The petitioner is stated to have 86% disability. According to the petitioner, he would not be in a position to do work without the assistance of Computer. It is his grievance that there are no Computers in the transferred place at Kancheepuram and it would not be possible for him to discharge duties.

3. The petitioner has already joined at the transferred place. I am therefore of the view that the petitioner should be given liberty to submit a representation to the first respondent.

4. The petitioner is given liberty to submit a comprehensive representation to the first respondent indicating his difficulties to undertake the work at the transferred place. In case any such representation is given, the same shall be considered and disposed of by the first respondent, on merits and taking into account the disability of the petitioner. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of two months from the date of receipt of representation.

5. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
