ORDER
[Made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] This habeas corpus petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents to produce the body and person of the petitioner's wife Williams Bernadette Sharon, wife of Roger Walker, aged about 26 years and set the detenue at liberty forthwith and hand over her to the petitioner herein. 2.
It is the case of the petitioner that the whereabouts of his wife Williams Bernadette Sharon, aged about 26 years, who left the matrimonial house for her delivery, are not known and therefore, he has filed the present habeas corpus petition. 3.
Today, Karthikeyan (Mobile No.94442 71531), SubInspector of Police, F-2, Egmore Police Station, Chennai, is present.

On instructions, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that on account of marital discord, Williams Bernadette Sharon is now living with her parents in Chennai after her delivery.

Williams Bernadette Sharon appeared before this Court via WhatsApp video call in the mobile phone of the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) and we enquired her in the presence of the learned counsel for the petitioner. 6.
On enquiry, Sharon stated that she came for delivery to her parental home and she was blessed with a boy baby on 16.08.2021; on account of cruelty inflicted to her, she had left her matrimonial home and she is living with her parents in Door No.95-3/42, Loco Scheme 2nd Street, Jawahar Nagar, Chennai - 82, on her own volition and she is not in the illegal detention of anyone.
Recording the same, this habeas corpus petition stands closed.
