At this stage of the hearing of the writ petition, the learned counsel appearing for the respondents 6 and 7 had placed before this Court a communication sent by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Kancheepuram, dated 16.7.2015, asking the parties concerned to appear for an enquiry, in respect of the granting of UDR patta.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners had submitted that it would suffice, if the Revenue Divisional Officer, Kancheepuram, considers the requests made by the petitioners and passes appropriate orders thereon, after giving an opportunity of hearing to all the parties concerned.
3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 had submitted that the Revenue Divisional Officer, Kancheepuram, would pass appropriate orders, based on the enquiry proposed to be conducted by him, as per the proceedings, dated 16.7.2015, in respect of the issue raised before this Court, for the granting of UDR patta.
