It is seen that the petitioner has sought for police protection in the year 2014, due to some dispute regarding the election to the Advocates Association at Kizha Eral, Ettaiyapuram Taluk, Tuticorin District. Eight years have gone by since then. I do not see any necessity to grant police protection at this distant point of time.
