ORDER

The petitioner has filed this contempt petition, to punish the respondent for disobeying the order of this Court in W.P.Nos.5438, 5338 and 5344 of 2023 dated 06.04.2023.

2. The relevant portion of the order of this Court dated 06.04.2023 in W.P.Nos.5438, 5338 and 5344 of 2023 : - "Thus, mandamus is issued to R4, to dispose the applications if and when filed by the petitioner, seeking provisional release under Section 110(A) of Customs Act, 1962. Let the petitioner be heard and orders be passed thereafter, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the applications".

3. Pursuant to the above order, the first respondent in the above writ petitions has passed Speaking Order No.11 of 2023 under Section 110A of Customs Act, 1962 dated 01.07.2023.

4. In view of the above, nothing survives for further adjudication 2/4

in these petitions. Hence, these contempt petitions are closed. Liberty is given to the petitioner to challenge the aforesaid order in the manner known to law. Consequently, connected sub-applications are closed. 18.07.2023 Index : Yes/ No Internet : Yes/No kkd 3/4
