Heard Mr.D.Shivakumaran, learned Counsel for the petitioner.

2. The present Criminal Miscellaneous Petition in Crl.O.P.No.8387 of 2017 has been filed seeking to amend the cause title since, P.R.C.No.7 of 2016, which was, at that particular point of time, pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.V, Salem, and subsequently transferred to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.VI, Salem and re-numbered as P.R.C.No.89 of 2019 has been committed to the Court of Sessions and is now pending on the file of the learned Principal District and Sessions Court, Salem as S.C.No.25 of 2020. This has necessitated filing of the present miscellaneous petition.

3. In view of the facts stated, the present Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is allowed.
