Heard Mr.N.A.Nissar Ahmed, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.Gunasekaran, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent. With the consent of either side, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage.

2.The Petitioner seeks for a direction upon the respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation filed by the petitioner dated 14.11.2014 seeking No Objection Certificate for construction of building in the property said to be owned by the petitioner Trust, which is a WAKF.

3.The petitioner would state that since it is a religious institution, they have to necessarily obtain a No Objection Certificate from the District Collector and therefore they have submitted an application.

4.In the light of the above facts, the respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 14.11.2014 on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as WAKF Board/WAKF Superintendent, Kanchipuram District and pass orders within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5.With the above observation, this petition is disposed of. No costs.
