We find that the appeal itself is not maintainable. The appellants had challenged the Combined Roster Seniority List dated 08.03.2024 and sought for a Certiorarified Mandamus to place themselves ahead of the respondents.

2. While considering the said petition, the learned Single Judge has passed the following orders:- "2. Any orders passed by the respondents would always be subject to the result of these writ petitions" 5/8

3. It is this order which is subject matter of challenge in these Writ Appeals. Clause 15 of the Letters Patent provides for an appeal against the judgment of the learned Single Judge of this Court made in exercise of original jurisdiction or an extraordinary original jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. The order impugned, in our considered opinion, does not decide the rights of the parties and therefore, it is not a judgment within Clause 15 of the Letters Patent.

4. Hence, all these appeals are dismissed. No costs.
