ORDER

The prayer made in this writ petition is to issue a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to initiate necessary proceedings against the 3rd respondent Society under the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act, 1975, by conducting an inspection and inquiry into the affairs of the 3rd respondent Society with regard to correctness and validity of the General Assembly voters' list for the years 2013 - 2016 and also to find out the correctness of election procedure of Bishop - President of 3rd respondent Society in accordance with law.

2.Today, when this matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submitted that the relief sought for herein has become infructuous and hence, nothing survives for adjudication.

3.In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
