The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences under Sections 296(b), 118(1), 351(3) r/w Section 4 of TNPHW Act in Crime No.Not known of 2025, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondent, on instructions, submitted that the Crime No.842 of 2024 has been assigned and FIR has not been registered.

3. In view of the same, the respondent is directed to issue a notice under Section 35 of BNSS, 2023 and on such notice, the petitioner shall appear before the respondent. Till the conclusion of the enquiry, the respondent police shall not arrest the petitioner.

4. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
