ORDER
(The case has been heard through video conference) The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 448, 294(b), 427, 436, 307 IPC, in Crime No.Not known of 2020, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. The case of the prosecutor as per the de-facto complainant viz., Ragaventhira is that due to wordy quarrel, the petitioner along with 5 other accused persons intimidated the de-facto complainant with deadly weapons and attempted to assault him.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Therefore, he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the petitioner is an habitual offender and there are six previous cases against him and he is a history-sheetor in Sirkazhi police station. Hence, he vehemently opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
5. Taking into consideration the fact that the petitioner is an habitual offender and he has six previous cases, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
