Respondents PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records connected with the proceedings issued under Order No.1/2022-ESTT-BR-P2DA10-PER-DG dated 25.06.2022 issued by the Office of the 1st respondent at Serial No.11, concerning the petitioner of the above Transfer Order transferring the petitioner from GC-Avadi to 177-BN under Type, SCT-2022 i.e. to Jammu and Kashmir, signifying a Transfer Order of routine rotation of CRPF Personnel and quash the same, as arbitrary, unjust, whimsical, violation of Statutory Rules thus in violation of Articles 14 and 16 of the Constitution and consequently with direction to the respondents to retain the petitioner in GC-CRPF Avadi, at least for three years, after which the petitioner is willing to apply for early retirement on medical grounds, in case the present nature of disability continues. ORDER

Through the impugned order dated 25.06.2022, the petitioner herein who was holding the Rank of ASI/GD, was transferred from GCAVD to 177-BN. 2/4

2. Pending the Writ Petition, the respondents have removed the name of the petitioner from the impugned order of transfer and permitted him for retention in GC-Avadi, on medical grounds and thereby, the transfer order was cancelled. As such, the prayer sought for in the present Writ Petition has become infructuous.
