Respondents Writ Petition, filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 23.12.2014 and to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to appoint the petitioner for the post of Lecturer in Commerce Department in the selection conducted for the year 2008 with all concomitant service benefits.

O R D E R

The relief sought for in this writ petition is for a direction to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner on 23.12.2014, in respect of appointment to the post of Lecturer in Commerce Department.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner made a submission that due to the pendency of writ petitions at various stage, the writ petitioner was unable to be appointed as Lecturer. Therefore, it is not the fault of the writ petitioner and due to the litigation pending before the Court, the writ petitioner lost his opportunity for appointment to the post of Lecturer.

3. However the learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents stated that the process for selection were completed long back. At this juncture, the case of the writ petitioner cannot be considered.

4. Thus, without going into the merits of the matter, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner on 23.12.2014, on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
