This petition is filed to condone the delay of 796 days in filing the above appeal.

2.Though notice has been served on the 1st respondent and his name is printed in the cause list, there is no representation for him, either in person or through counsel.

3.Mr.S.Arun Kumar, learned counsel takes notice for 2nd respondentInsurance Company. 4.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned counsel appearing for the 2nd respondent. 5.Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, the delay of 796 days is condoned on payment of cost of Rs.1,000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) to 'Samarpana', No.10, Subramani Nagar, Vinayagapuram, Near Retteri, Kolathur Post, Chennai-99, [Savings Bank Account No.10156284387, State Bank of India, Jawahar Nagar Branch, Chennai, IFSC Code SBIN000758, Contact person: Mr.B.M.Sridhar, Mobile No.9282112830], within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, failing which, this petition shall stand dismissed automatically, without further reference to this Court.

It is made clear that the petitioner/appellant shall not be entitled for any interest for the compensation amount enhanced, if any, in the appeal. 12.02.2021 krk NOTE: Registry is directed to number the appeal, if it is otherwise in order and list the C.M.A. for admission by printing the name of Mr.S.Arun Kumar, as the counsel for the 2nd respondent.
