ORDER

The learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner has sent a representation to the 2nd respondent to enroll the petitioner as a lessee instead of his predecessor lessee, Mr.Manikkam's name. The said representation is pending from 19.02.2024 and the petitioner seeks issuance of a writ of Mandamus to direct disposal of the said representation. 2.The learned Government Advocate would however submit that the temple has taken over possession of the property even as early as in 2023 and the suit filed by the writ petitioner in O.S.No.35 of 2008 has also been dismissed by the learned Principal District Munsif Court on 01.09.2022. He would therefore state that there is nothing remains for any consideration in the writ petition. However, I find that the learned counsel for the respondents has written instructions to address this Court regarding the subsequent events that have been transpired and the same has not put forth by the counter affidavit.

3.In the light of the above, it is open to the 2nd respondent to reply the petitioner's representation, pointing to the subsequent developments, which have already been narrated herein above and dispose of the said 2/4

representation, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
