This Writ Petition is filed for a mandamus to reconsider the compensation amount fixed by the 2nd respondent.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner's request is similar to the subject matter of another writ petition in W.P.No.18892 of 2024 and hence, prays to consider the same.

3. Considering the above submission, the representation of the petitioner shall be considered alongside the representation of Mrs.Gomathy, who is the petitioner in W.P.No.18892 of 2023, wherein this Court, by order dated 27.06.2023, directed the 1st respondent therein to pass orders on the petitioner's representation within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of a copy of that order. The District Collector, Chengalpet/the 1st respondent herein shall consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation also, within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this 2/4

order, on merits and in accordance with law.

4. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands allowed. No costs.
