O R D E R

Challenge has been made to the Order of dismissal of the application filed to set aside the exparte decree dated 25.09.2024 passed against the petitioner in the RLTOP.No.324 of 2024, in the present Civil Revision Petition.

2. When the Civil Revision Petition is taken up today, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner filed an undertaking affidavit filed by the revision petitioner stating that he will vacate the premises on or before 30.09.2025. He had also handed over a Demand Draft for a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- dated 07.07.2025 to the learned counsel appearing for the respondents.

3. The undertaking affidavit filed by the revision petitioner is taken on record.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that there is still arrears of rent payable by the petitioner.

5. In such view of the matter, the revision petitioner shall vacate the premises on or before 30.09.2025 and till such time, he shall continue to pay the Page 2 / 4

rent. It is made clear that in the event of any violation of the undertaking given before this Court, the revision petitioner will be proceeded for contempt. As far as the arrears of rent payable by the petitioner is concerned, it is for the respondents to work out their remedy as per law.
