The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 31.05.2024 in Crime No.144 of 2024 registered for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 419, 420 IPC r/w Section 66D of IT Act, seeks bail.
2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case, since petitioner is the relative of A1, he also colluded with other accused and attempted to illegally transport the contraband. He further submitted that he is no way connected with the alleged offence. He is ready to abide by any stringent conditions that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prayed for grant of bail to the petitioner.

Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that the defacto complainant received a call from Fedex Courier, stating that, a parcel with four passports, three credit cards, 150 grams of MMDA and 4 kgs of clothes was addressed from this defacto complainant to one J sung at Taiwan and threatened him to transfer Rs.1,41,800/-, otherwise he will be arrested for various crimes. gd colluded with other accused and attempted to illegally transport the contraband. Sofar there is no recovery. A3 and A4 are still absconding. He further submitted that the investigation is not yet completed, therefore, he vehemently opposed to grant bail to the petitioner.
4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondent and perused the entire materials available on record.
5. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) and also considering the fact that, if the petitioner is released on bail, he may tamper the evidences, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
