2. During the pendency of the appeal, the parties have arrived at compromise and they have filed an affidavit to that effect.

3. Thereby, this Court, on earlier occasion, taking note of the fact that the settlement has been arrived between the parties and also considering the affidavit filed by them stating that the appellant has agreed to pay a sum of Rs.10 lakhs to the respondent/plaintiff, had disposed of the appeal vide order dated 13.06.2023 and directed to list this matter today under the caption "for reporting compliance".

4. When the matter is taken up today for hearing, the learned counsel for the appellant submitted that the appellant has paid an amount of Rs.10 lakhs as full and final settlement before the EP Court in R.E.P.76/2021 on the file of the Additional District Court, Namakkal and the said Court has also recorded as "Full Satisfaction Record".

5. In view of the above, the order dated 13.06.2023 has been complied with.
