Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the representation, dated 17.04.2024 in accordance with law by releasing the detention who is in actual imprisonment of 26 years in Central Prison, Vellore in any of the benevolent scheme of Premature release taking to consideration of deteriorating health of the detention of Gabriel, 1/4

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.S.RAMESH, J.) The prayer in the present Writ Petition seeking for a Writ of Mandamus to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 17.04.2024 seeking for premature release has become infructuous since it is represented by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the petitioner's representation has been considered and rejected through G.O.(D).No.646, Home (Prison-IV) Department, dated 07.06.2023. Hence, no further orders are required.

2. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands closed with a liberty to the petitioner to challenge the said rejection order if she chooses to do so. No costs.
