This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to accord permission and provide police protection to the petitioner by considering his representation dated 22.06.2019 in accordance with law.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that the FIR was registered in Crime No.336 of 2019 under Section 145 of Cr.P.C and the same has been referred to the Revenue Divisional Officer, Gobichettipalayam, for conducting the proceedings.

In view of the above development, no further orders can be passed in this Criminal Original Petition and the parties will have to await final orders in the 145 proceedings.
