This Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to take necessary action against the officials who helped the seventh respondent for obtaining patta.
2. In this writ petition, the sixth respondent filed a counter stating that on the complaint received from the petitioner dated 05.07.2012, enquiry was conducted. While pending enquiry, the petitioner filed a direction petition before this Court in Crl.O.P.No.9760 of 2014 by an order dated 22.04.2014. The Inspector of police, District Crime Branch, Kancheepuram, registered a case as against the seventh respondent herein and two other accused persons in Crime No. 24 of 2014 for the offence under Sections 465, 467, 468, 471 of IPC.
3. The Inspector of police, District Crime Branch, Kancheepuram, also recorded the statement under Section 161(3) of Cr.P.C. The statement revealed that the petitioner purchased vacant land to an extent of 0.21 cents out of 0.41 cents situated in Sriperumbudur Taluk, Araneri Village Old Survey No.63/1, New Survey No.223/13 from the legal heirs of one Saravanan Pillai by way of registered sale deeds vide document Nos.10268/2008, dated 14.07.2008, 10368/2008, dated 15.07.2008 and 10450/2008, dated 16.07.2008 respectively. The investigation is still pending. Therefore, on the complaint already action has been taken and the investigation is under progress.
4. Recorded the above submission, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
