ORDER

This petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking to modify the order dated 08.12.2017 made in Crl.M.P.No.19425 of 2017 on the file of the learned Principal Sessions Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai.

2. In the absence of any reasoning or justification as to why the petitioner should not report before the respondent police and stay at Vellore, I am of the view that such a onerous condition directing the respondent to report before the learned Judicial Magistrate-I at Vellore cannot be sustained.

3. In the result, the condition in the order dated 8.12.2017 in Crl.M.P.No.19425 of 2017 is modified to the extent that the petitioner shall be released on bail in the event of arrest, in connection with the Crime No.2721 of 2017 on the file of the respondent police on his executing a bond for Rs.10,000/- with https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

two sureties each for a likesum to the satisfaction of the jurisdictional Magistrate with the further condition that he shall report before the respondent police for a period of 30 days daily at 5.00 p.m. and thereafter as and when required.
