PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent to register the petitioner complaint dated 13.01.2016 and also consequently direct the 3rd respondent to initiate appropriate domestic violence report and forward the same to Protection Officer, Ponneri under Protection of Woman from Domestic Violence Act and restore the custody of the minor child to the petitioner.

The Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent to register the petitioner complaint dated 13.01.2016 and also consequently direct the 3rd respondent to initiate appropriate domestic violence report and forward the same to Protection Officer, Ponneri under Protection of Woman from Domestic Violence Act and restore the custody of the minor child to the petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.It is seen from the records that the petition has been filed on 13.01.2016, after the lapse of three years the directions sought for in this writ petition cannot be granted. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to file fresh complaint with a fresh cause of action.
