ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the Respondent Police to complete the investigation in the above Crime No.214 of 2018 in accordance with law and consequently direct the Respondent Police to file Final Report into the Jurisdictional Court within a specified time frame by this Court. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondent.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the respondent has registered a case in the above said crime number on 15.05.2018, no final report is filed till date.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the respondent police may be permitted to file a final report within a period of three months. 5.In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the defacto complainant.

6.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
